Amazon, the talk of the town!

In Orlando, especially, we've heard so much talk about Amazon possibly opening up in our town. It looks like we might be out of the running - but the City of Orlando wants to know WHY.

Inside Amazon Go

This week, Amazon is back in the news this week - featuring their first store of the future, Amazon Go.

Amazon Go, opening up Monday in downtown Seattle. It's enabling a shopping experience like no other - including no check out lines.

Is this something that we can expect to hit our local Central Florida area?

To get into Amazon Go, you simply scan your smartphone using an app. Inside this 1,800-square foot mini-market packed with shelves of food that you can find in other local convenience stores - sandwiches, soda, potato chips.

The technology in this place will surely amaze any techy! There are no cashiers, no shopping carts or baskets! Your Amazon account simply gets automatically gets charged for the items you take of out the door.

There is more technology that makes Amazon Go possible that we can't see or interact with, and Amazon won't release any details on how it works. BUT, experts know that Amazon's technology can see and identify every item in the store, without attaching a special chip to every bag of chips. WHAT!

Would you like to see Amazon Go come to the Central Florida area? What are your thoughts?
